Frank was born in Northfork, Grandforks BC June 20, 1921. The youngest of three boys. Following his brothers, mining brought him to the Cariboo and working for Fred Wells in 1939.

In Quesnel he met the love of his life Violet Oram. They married in 1948. Together they built a service station and restaurant in Hixon, BC, then proceeded to get into the logging business.

Returning to Quesnel in 1968 Frank became an agent for Mutual Life until he fully retired in 1989. A lifetime lover of music and dancing, Frank played with his band for many many weddings, dances and fundraisers.
