Gary Eugene Syvertsen of Quesnel, B.C. passed away peacefully on October 6, 2010 at GR Baker Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Stettler, Alberta on August 15, 1941. Gary was happiest listening to the radio and building things in his woodshop. In his earlier years there were many weekends spent fishing and camping with family and friends. He was proud to have worked at the same job for nearly 33 years (forklift operator at a sawmill).
He is survived by his wife Heather, his son Dennis (Michelle) and daughter Pamela; 4 grandchildren, Grace Ann, Wyatt, Isabelle and Eva.
His brothers and sisters; Don, Jim (Sharon), Grace (Fred), Elsie (Phil), Joan, Joy (Bob), all his nieces and nephews.
Gary will be greatly missed by all his friends and family and will forever be in our hearts.
