It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Gordon E. Parker. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 20th, 2010 in Baker Lodge.
Gordon was born on November 5th, 1918 in Chilliwack B.C. and had just celebrated his 91st birthday.
Gordon is survived by his wife of 71 years Marjorie, sons Ray (Daintrea), Lloyd (Juanita), and Don (Janene). He was also graced with 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchilden, whom will miss him dearly.
The family would like to thank the Baker Lodge staff for taking good care of him during his final days.
No funeral will be held at his request but a Memorial tea will be held at the Golden Centre, Saturday, February 27th at 2:00 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
