Gwendolynne Ivy Fouty passed away in Quesnel on September 9, 2007.
A service will be held on September 18 at 2:00 pm at St. John’s Anglican Church. A tea will follow at St. John’s Anglican Church Hall.
Gwendolynne was born in Calgary, Alberta on July 5, 1923. She spent two years in the Armed Forces in the Air Force. She was also an Alumni from UBC with a degree in social work.
She married Joseph Fouty on December 21, 1949. She lived in Quesnel from 1953 to 2007.
Gwen was a very involved community member and did alot of volunteer work all her life.
She is survived by her husband Joseph Fouty, brother Stewart Richardson, sister Joyce Chubb, sons Gordon Fouty (Sandy) and Ross and six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
