Harold Ray Davis

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Harold Ray Davis at the Dunrovin Hospice Center in Quesnel, BC after a courageous battle with Amyotropic Lateral Sclerosis, also known as ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease.

He was born and grew up in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta and lived in Peachland, BC and Penticton, BC before moving to Wells, BC. Ray enjoyed fishing, woodworking, rock work and gold panning among many other activities. He spent many happy hours in his workshop.

Ray leaves to mourn, his wife of 37 years, Linda; his son, Brian; his daughter, Susan Steadman; and sister, Dianne Knott (Gerald). He was predeceased by his mother, Dorothy (Titford); father, Harold Davis; and brother, Barrie Davis (Shirley).

Interment will be at the Wells-Barkerville Cemetery in BC with no service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Society of BC, at 206 - 1600 West 6th Ave., Vancouver, BC, V6J 1R3, or online at www.alsbc.ca.
