Helen Edith Elmore Flynn passed away peacefully at Quesnel`s Baker Lodge December 18th, 2008. Helen has fought and won many challenges in her 83 years. With strength and dignity she fought for what she believed in. Helen's love for helping others through many years of community service earned her the distinguished Quesnel Volunteer Citizen of the Year award in 2001. Helen continued her fight with her health until alas she needed to sleep.

May her strength and courage always be with

us. Helen is survived by her husband Pat Mcleod,

son Glen Gollner and his wife Belle, granddaughters

Corina, Carmen, and Coralea, 14 great grand

children and so many wonderful, caring friends.

The family is so grateful to Helen’s many caregivers

in Quesnel.

Sweet memories will linger forever.

Time cannot change them, it's true;

Years that may come cannot sever

Our loving memory of you.

Helen Edith Elmore Flynn, mother, wife,

grandmother, friend…you will always be loved.

A memorial tea will be held at the Royal

Canadian Legion in Quesnel at 2pm, Sunday,

January 11th, 2009. Donations in Helen’s

memory may be made to the

Quesnel Hospice or charity of choice.
