It is with sadness that the family of Jerry Karolat announce his passing on June 5, 2016.
Jerry grew up in the Cariboo. He made his
living in the logging and sawmill industries for many years then in the auto wrecking
and directory businesses.
His love of life showed in his work and in the many things he enjoyed doing in his spare time. Ocean fishing, restoring old cars, bee keeping, flying, diving and fishing rod
building are some of the things he loved
to do over the years.
Jerry is survived by his daughters Dianne (Todd), Camae (Denny), Terri (Graeme) and nine grandchildren as well as siblings Cindy, Wayne, Trudi, Werner, Linda and Wilfred.
A service for Jerry will be held at the
Clayton Funeral Chapel on June 18 at
11 am. A memorial tea will follow at
the Royal Canadian Legion
from 1-3 pm.
