It is with sadness that the family of Jerry Karolat announce his passing on June 5, 2016.

Jerry grew up in the Cariboo. He made his

living in the logging and sawmill industries for many years then in the auto wrecking

and directory businesses.

His love of life showed in his work and in the many things he enjoyed doing in his spare time. Ocean fishing, restoring old cars, bee keeping, flying, diving and fishing rod

building are some of the things he loved

to do over the years.

Jerry is survived by his daughters Dianne (Todd), Camae (Denny), Terri (Graeme) and nine grandchildren as well as siblings Cindy, Wayne, Trudi, Werner, Linda and Wilfred.

A service for Jerry will be held at the

Clayton Funeral Chapel on June 18 at

11 am. A memorial tea will follow at

the Royal Canadian Legion

from 1-3 pm.
