Ida Muriel Wilkinson

Ida Muriel Wilkinson of North Fraser Drive passed away at her home on October 17, 2004.

A memorial tea in Ida’s memory was held at the Kersley Hall on October 23rd. Cremation took place prior to the tea.

Ida was born July 28, 1928 in Kersley, B.C. She was raised at Dragon Lake.

She worked at G.R. Baker Hospital before marrying Hugh John Wilkinson on July 19, 1947. She lived all her life in the Quesnel area, spending 18 years at Punchaw Ranch.

She was involved with the Legion, senior’s bowling, Golden Centre and the Tops group.

Ida is survived by her daughters Dayle (Les) Campbell, Beryl (Tom) Maxwell, sister Nina (Sam) Olausen, brothers Andy (Sheila) Datoff, Don (Jean) Datoff, grandchildren Daria L’Hirondelle (Ron), Derek, Rob Campbell (Beth), Hugh Campbell (Terri), Ben Maxwell (Aly), Royce, Makenna, Andrey Christieson (Kevin), Kyle and Alexi.

She was predeceased by Hugh Wilkinson.

The family would like to thank everyone for the flowers, food, cards and calls. The turnout at the memorial tea overwhelmed us. We are grateful for all the love and support of family and friends. A special thank you to Laurie and Lucile for always being there for her.
