Iqbal ‘Nick’ Singh Bagri, our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother left us for his next journey in life on December 26, 2016. He passed from complications of pancreatic cancer, surrounded by his family.

Iqbal was born in India on December 29, 1953 to Amar Singh and Rajinder Kaur Bagri. He crossed his first ocean to England when he was four years old. When he was 19, he married his beloved wife Ravinder Kaur, after which he crossed another ocean and landed in Canada on October 24, 1970. He immediately began working in the forest industry and settled at Quesnel Forest Products.

He was awestruck by the natural beauty of the Quesnel area and developed a deep love for the outdoors. He became an avid hunter and snowmobiler when he wasn’t busy playing and coaching soccer, racing classic cars or riding his motorbike. However, none of these compared to the deep love he held towards his children - Sabrina (Lucky), Michelle (Kam) and Harpaul. He was once again blessed with the arrival of his grandchildren. His face would light up with joy when surrounded by Samahra, Jai, Kaiden and Chase.

His life was celebrated on January 2, 2017 at 2pm at Riverside Funeral Home.
