June 25, 1933 - March 30, 2019
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our father, Irv Follack on Saturday, March 30, 2019.

Dad was predeceased by the love of his life, Doreen, and grandson Brett. He is survived and deeply missed by his children Brad (Lenore), Blaine (Coreen), Lonnie, and Leanne (Morley); his grandchildren Mark, Lindsey, Keegan, Justin, Tyson, Jordan, Breanne, Kylie, Emily, and Hailey, and great-grandchildren Callum and Emma.

Dad was born on June 26, 1933 in Success, Saskatchewan, the eldest of five children to Gus and Kathy Follack. It was baseball that brought Dad to Quesnel in 1951, then again in 1953 for hockey, where he eventually spent eleven years playing for the Quesnel Kangaroos. He worked at Western Plywood (Weldwood) for 38 years, during which time he met and married our mom and his one true love, Doreen (mom). They raised a tight-knit family of four children, who gave them eleven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Dad kept busy with his family and his many hobbies, which includes baseball, hockey, skiing, fishing, curling, golfing, cards, and woodworking. We will also never forget his beautiful vegetable gardens that thrived in his care.

Dad will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving father, devoted husband, and #14 and captain of the Quesnel Kangaroos. A service will be held Saturday, April 6th at the Clayton Funeral Home, 582 Front Street, Quesnel, B.C. at 2 pm with a reception to follow.
