Jack Kleman passed away on May 26, 2016 in Quesnel, with his loving family at his side. Jack, who was 72 years old, had been struggling with his health for many years.

Jack grew up in Greenwood, BC and married Eva Steeves (nee Ziegler) there in 1969. They moved to Quesnel in 1980 where Jack worked in the logging industry and in placer mining until his retirement, after which he continued placer mining with his brother Tim until his death.

Jack was predeceased by his wife Eva and his parents, John & Kathie Kleman. He is survived by his sister Linda (Ross) Pomeroy, sister Ellen Clements, and brother Tim (Roseanne Chouinard), stepchildren Colleen (Ron) Bos, Bert (Sheila) Steeves, Helen (John) Weel, and Ross Steeves (Deama Pedrajas), and numerous grandchildren, along with a large extended family.

Jack did not want a funeral but a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

The family wish to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the nurses and doctors at G.R. Baker Hospital who gave Jack such excellent care, as well as to the Home Care nurses who nurtured and attended to Jack over many, many years.
