The family of James Sutton, also known as Jim, sadly announce his passing at home in Creston, BC in the care of his loving family.
Jim was born in Quesnel, BC to Bill & Ada Sutton on January 19, 1937.
Jim was predeceased by his parents and three of his brothers. Fred, Jack and Don Sutton. He is survived by his brothers Bob and Charlie Sutton.
Jim will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 66 years, Sharon Darlene Sutton and his 4 wonderful children Debbie Peters, Cheryl (Doug) Clark, Linda (Rick) Chilson & Chris (Chantel) Sutton. 14 Grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.
Jim enjoyed many professions. He received his welding certificate in Vancouver when he was 18 years old. He moved his family to different towns for work, moving back to Quesnel, his hometown, around 1970. He went to work, welding, for West Fraser Mill and retired when he was 65. He continued as a welding contractor for many years.
Jim & Sharon moved to Creston in 2021. Jim enjoyed skidooing, quading, fishing and camping with his family & friends.
Jim was a life that touched others, and he will go on forever in our lives & hearts. Never forgotten and always loved.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
