Born in Vancouver, BC to Olaf and Dallas Olausen. Jim grew up in Prince George, moved to Quesnel where he worked for the Cariboo Pulp Mill until his retirement in 2003.

Jim will be remembered the most for his great stories and wonderful sense of humour. He was a kind, loving and generous father, brother and son.

He leaves behind his three children; Kim-Marah, Jody and Caitlyn, his mother Dallas Henry, special friend Wendy Hammond, stepmother Eira Olausen, sisters: Myrna and Linda, numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Jim passed away at home on March 19th, 2014 after suffering from a heart attack.

He will be sadly missed by his family who loved him dearly.
