Jane Hawkes, aged 89, a resident of the Extended Care Unit of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Comox, B.C. passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 27, 2007.
Mrs. Hawkes is survived and will be dearly missed by daughters Brenda McKelvie, Bonnie Kopetski and Linda Ledoux; sons David and Ray Hawkes; her grandchildren; great grandchildren; sister Phyllis and several nieces and nephews.
She will be remembered as a wonderful singer who spent a number of years with the Langley Community Choir.
Her family wishes to thank the staff at Extended Care for their years of loving kindness and excellent care.
Private family cremation arrangements entrusted to Comox Valley Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre, 1101 Ryan Road, Courtenay, B.C.
Interment will take place in Surrey at a later date.
