Jane Symes was born January 19, 1916 in Balintore, Scotland and passed away on June 29, 2008 in Salmon Arm, B.C. at the age of 92.
Jane was predeceased by husband Ernest Symes and 10 siblings.
She is survived by two sisters Jessie Telford and Christina Prouse, 12 children, Sarah, Roxy, Ernest (Mary), Orval (Lucy), Bill, Isabel (Wes), Marie (Rick), Hector (Bev), Gloria (Raymond), Grace (Jim), Terry (Judy), Vicki (Randy), 50 grandchildren, 85 great grandchildren and 25 great great grandchildren.
A service was held at Bowers Funeral Home on Saturday, July 5, 2008 followed by a luncheon at the Silver Creek Seniors Hall.
