Jean Frances Schmeisser was born November 6, 1936 and passed away April 7, 2008 at home with her husband and daughter by her side.

She is survived by her husband Karlheinz Schmeisser, daughter April Schmeisser and husband Darrin Terrico of Quesnel, son Alex Schmeisser and wife Vicki of Prince George, four grandchildren Corly, Kale, Ashley and Lee.

Jean was born and raised in New Westminster and came to Quesnel to help run the family business, Aitkens Food Mart in the early 1960s. She married Karl on June 24, 1967. Her life’s work shone through in her love and devotion for us. This love spilled over onto all who knew her, giving many a soft place to land. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She spent countless hours with them making many wonderful memories. She enjoyed being at home and raising her family and providing a good home for her children to grow up in. Many summers were spent at the family summer cabin at Quesnel Lake where she loved the peaceful days. Mom was known by all for her beautiful yard and flowers. Always taking the time to help neighbours with their flowerbeds. She will be sadly missed by many but will be in our hearts forever.

OMA

Oma I wonder where you keep your wings,

Are they hung in your closet with the rest of

your things?

Do you put them away and just use them at night or give them to Great Granny to polish up bright.

I know you have wings, for this must be true,

cause God

always gives them to

Angels like you!

Love Corly
