John moved to Quesnel in the 1950’s from Arbakka, Manitoba. He had a passion and zest for his community. He worked tirelessly throughout his life. He built a business, became involved in municipal and provincial politics. John loved the land and had a keen interest in raising cattle. He was a family man and most importantly, he loved having family all visit.
He is survived by his children Audrey (Roland) Legere, Laura (Jim) Woods, Yvonne (Rick) Ambrose, Holley, Mark (Heidi), Grant (Mary), thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
John passed away at Maple House, Dunrovin Lodge. The last years he was lovingly cared for by Candace Miller, his granddaughter.
Close up the garage, put the farm equipment away, remember the greatest successes, the most loving moments.
