John Lawrence Mills was born Sept. 4, 1922 in Hazelton, B.C. and passed away Feb. 17, 2007 at his home in Langley B.C. with his family by his side.
John is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lillian, daughters Deborah and Brenda, and sons David and Donald.
John and Lillian raised their family in Quesnel until 1987 when they moved to Langley, B.C. to be closer to their children and eight grandchildren.
John, who was known as Jack by his many friends and workmates, worked at West Fraser Mills from 1964 to 1987, when he retired.
John will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather whose quiet demeanor and sense of humor will endure in the memories of all who loved him.
He will be sadly missed.
A memorial service was held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Langley, B.C. on Saturday, Feb. 24.
