John Scott Hager of Langley, B.C., (formerly of Quesnel, Kelowna, and Prince George), born March 21, 1950, has passed away suddenly at the age of 73. John was predeceased by his wife Ethel Hager of 42 years. John is survived by his wife Donna of 6 years, his sons Mark (Brenda) Hager and Mike (Stacey) Hager, daughter Susan Hager, sister Janie Hager, and his grandchildren Emma Hager, Ava Hager, Alexis Hager, Ryke Hager, Gavin Hager, Arlo Hager, and Luke Hager. He was warm, kind, and always ready for a good conversation. He was a devoted husband, caring father, and a loving grandfather. With Jesus the centre of his life he will be rejoicing in heaven, but he will be missed by all. A Funeral service will be held in Langley at Fort Langley Community Church on July 15th at 1:00 p.m. If family and friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation, Church of the Rock, or Samaritan's Purse.
