John Travers of Chemainus, BC passed away peacefully on August 12, 2009 at Cowichan District Hospital. He was born on August 20, 1919 in Czar, Alberta. John is survived by his loving companion Esther Forster; sons Larry and Glen; daughter Vallie. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Interment was held in Chemainus Cemetery.
