Kathleen peacefully passed away February 6, 2010 with her loving family by her side.

Kay is survived by her daughters, Doreen Panza of Palm Springs, California and Colleen (Mel) Armstrong of Quesnel, B.C., six grandchildren, Stacy, Kristy, Lindsay, Paul André, Christopher and five great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jerika, Carissa, Aidan and Keira.

Kay was born and raised in Norfolk England, the only child of Alfred and Lillian Morgan. Kay married in 1945 and after the birth of her first child came to Canada as a war bride. The family resided in New Westminister, B.C. where she gave birth to a second child and in 1954 they moved to Quesnel, where she lived until her passing.

Kay was a devoted mother and grandmother, always making sure valuable time was spent with her daughters and grandchildren.

In July 2008 Kay suffered a stroke and heart attack. Her determination and strong will, together with the love and support of her family and friends gave the strength she needed to make an extremely good recovery.

Following the stroke she lived with her daughter, Colleen where many happy times were spent and special memories were made.

In this past 1 1/2 years Kay especially enjoyed the many Friday nights spent with her life long friend Bea Warden.

On February 3, 2010 Kay suffered a fatal stroke and succumbed to her medical condition on February 6. Her loving daughter Colleen and son in law Mel were by her side.

Thank you to all our friends and family who gave their love and support.

A special recognition and thank you to nurses Kathy MacNeil and Eileen Cindric for their kindness and compassion in caring for Mom during those final days.

Safely Home

I am home in Heaven, dear ones.

All so happy, all so bright

There’s perfect joy

and beauty

In this everlasting light.

All the pain and grief

are over

Every restless

tossing passed

I am now at peace forever

Safely home in

Heaven at last.
