After a long time living with a rare disease called Mitochondreal Myopathy, Kayla Marie Dawn O’Flynn passed away at the age of 14 on July 14, 2005 at B.C. Children’s Hospital.
An informal gathering to celebrate Kayla’s life was held on July 23, 2005. We would like to thank all our family and friends who
helped plan, support and were able to
shared this day with us. A special thank you
goes out to Sean and Lisa O’Flynn for
opening their home on that day and to
Kayla’s two nurses from B.C. Children’s
Hospital who travelled to Quesnel to
share their hearts with us. Donations in Kayla’s memory may be made to the B.C.
Children’s Hospital. We miss you, Sweet
