Kenneth Robertson

March 11, 2008

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth Ian Robertson at home in Baker Lodge on Tuesday, March 11 with family by his side.

Ken was born in Williams Lake, B.C. on June 10, 1940. He lived in the Cariboo and Kamloops areas while growing up. After the death of his father, Ken came to Quesnel to be part of the Kay and Guy Hill family.

After graduation Ken worked for the laundry and then went on to work with B.C. Rail, where he remained until retirement.

Ken is predeceased by his parents Kate and Robert Robertson, his brother Alistair and his stepfather Guy Hill.

He is survived by his sisters Beth Cyr and Sheila Dunn, his brothers Bob Robertson and Charlie Robertson, his stepmother Kay Hill and many nieces and nephews.

Ken had a great sense of humour, loved to laugh, dance and have fun. We will all miss his kind and gentle nature.

We want to express our gratitude and thanks to all the staff of Maple House and Baker Lodge and Dr. Fine and staff of Avery Clinic for all the love and kindness shown towards Ken over the years. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! We cannot thank you enough.

A memorial tea may be held when all the family are back in town, in April or May. Donation in his memory will be gratefully accepted by Quesnel Residential Care Society, 361 Murphy Street, Quesnel, B.C. V2J 3C6.
