In Loving Memory ~
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our dear brother, Kerry. He was born in Quesnel, BC and lived there most of his life, except for a short absence when his family moved to Alberta, before moving back to Quesnel.
He enjoyed hunting; loved dogs, especially pit bulls (he had numerous pet pit bulls over the years). While growing up, he had a fondness for many animals and had cats, dogs, and a few more exotic pets which included a skunk, turtles, and tarantulas.
He learned to ride a dirt bike and was involved in motocross racing when he was a kid and into his teens. His sister, Corinne, recalls bugging him to take her for a ride on the back of his motorbike... well, after he took her on the ride of her life, she NEVER asked again! He wheelied quite a ways with her on the back. He liked to tease but she didn't seem to find it all that funny at the time.
His family lovingly described him as an adrenaline junkie... he loved to downhill ski when he had the chance, enjoyed going for long distance bike rides, and went skydiving on more than one occasion, as well as bungee jumping. He was mechanically inclined (we sure hope Heaven has a beautiful garage for him) and loved to work on vehicles and had dreams of restoring classic and muscle cars.
Kerry is survived by his siblings, Corinne, Janet (Louis), Rob (Maria, Rebekah, and Zac), Ray, and Tammy; his aunt and uncle Fran & Bill Ilett; and cousins, Kevin and Karen and their families.
Kerry was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Isabelle Savoyard, Amy Ross, and sister Debbie Ross.
We can't believe he's gone and already miss his smile, his laugh, his voice, and his youthfulness, to name just a few of his endearing attributes. Kerry, you will always be forever in our hearts! And we believe we will see you again!
