Larry Alan Carkner Davison

December 22, 2008

Our Father passed away peacefully after a very difficult illness on December 22, 2008 at the G.R. Baker Memorial Hospital in Quesnel, B.C. at the age of 69.

A long time resident of Quesnel, Dad was known as “the pilot Larry” and his life will be remembered and celebrated by his daughter Valerie, son-in-law John and his grandson Kade Castiday of St. Albert, Alta., his son, Ian Davison of Quesnel, B.C. and many kind friends who loved dad dearly. Larry was pre-deceased by his father Harold Carkner and his beloved Mother Clara Davison of Calgary, Alberta.

The family would like to send a special thank you to our family “angel”, Carol Motherwell and to her husband Andy, who were always there for dad. Our hearts also go out to two very special people in our dad’s life: Nancy MacCharles and Doug Chute. Also in our thoughts are dad’s friends at the Quesnel Airport, Bailey Helicopters and other friends and colleagues who will miss him greatly.

To Cindy, Angela and the many caring nurses on the 2nd Floor, Gentle Care Ward of the G.R. Baker Memorial Hospital – your compassion and wonderful care will never be forgotten, thank you always.

The family is planning a Celebration of Life service in Quesnel and will post a Second notice with date and details. We ask in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in dad’s name to the SPCA chapter in Quesnel or Prince George, B.C.

Grandpa/Dad you can now forever return to the sky that you loved so much.
