Laura Falloon (nee-Marien) was born in Beggar SK., March 6,1916 and passed away in Quesnel B.C. July 27,2008. Laura was an avid gardener, and loved having company to share her beautiful home and garden with. She was generous and loyal to family and friends, and to her many charities that promoted education and support for young people. She will be greatly missed. Laura was predeceased by her husband Victor Falloon in (2001), 4 brothers, daughter-in-law Cherlynn and her son Nigel, and several brothers and sisters-in-law.
She is survived by her daughters Lillian Dunbar of Kamloops, Norah Marien of Prince Albert Sask; Stella Shayka of Edmonton Alta; son Jim Falloon of Quesnel B.C. 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, special friends Carol and Janice of Quesnel B.C. two sisters, one brother and many in-laws from Prince Albert and Smeaton area.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Walker, Meals on Wheels, Home Support, GR Baker Hospital and Baker Lodge Staff for their care and support of our mother.
Service to be held at Clayton’s Funeral Home Wednesday; August 6, 2008 at 1:00pm Interment in Smeaton Alta; August 11,2008.
