It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Laurent (Laurie) Gaumond on August 4, 2006.
Laurie was born in Quesnel on July 3, 1951 at G.R. Baker Memorial Hospital.
He worked and raised his family in Quesnel.
Laurie is survived by his wife Beverly, daughter Ashley, mother Margaret Gaumond, brother Robert (Cynthia) Christie, sisters Bev Murray and Yvonne Gaumond, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Joseph Gaumond, brother Donny and son Jeffrey Gaumond.
A memorial service was held on August 12, 2006 at Clayton’s Funeral Chapel with Reverend Teri Meyer officiating.
Inurnment followed at Tranquility Gardens and a reception at the Royal Canadian Legion.
Laurie was a great friend to many and will be greatly missed.
