Lawrence passed away peacefully at home, with his family at his side, age 79. He was predeceased by his wife, Tina in 2002. He will be sadly missed by his partner Ellen Newton, Children: Marvin (Susan), Denise (Ron), and David (Tamara); 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Lawrence will also be missed by his sisters: Alice, Larrein; Brothers, Leo and Roy (Helen) as well as numerous other relatives and special friends Mickey (Heather) McMitchell. He had a great love for Blue Grass Music which was the centre of his life. His love of life, people, and wonderful personality touched us all. Our time with him was marvelous. His celebration of life was held at 4 pm, Tuesday, August 24th, at the Rodeo Grounds, Summerland, B.C. Bring your musical instruments.
