It is with great sadness that the family of Lee Foster Chaplin, announce his passing at G.R. Baker Memorial Hospital after a short battle with cancer.
Lee was born in Kelowna, BC, the oldest of four children born to Sherburn and Jean Chaplin.
He was raised in Kelowna and moved north to Quesnel in 1965 to look for work. Lee and Yvonna soon brought property a few km west of Quesnel in the Millburn lake area. They made their home and had six children.
Lee worked for different mills in the beginning but ended his working career at West Fraser Mills (44 yrs). He reluctantly retired. In his retirement he enjoyed time spent with his family and friends.
He enjoyed the outdoors, was an avid reader and like to spend time watch documentaries on the supernatural or the unexplained. Lee had a great sense of humour and always had time for cup of coffee, and good conversation.
Lee was predeceased by his parents and his youngest daughter Coral Chaplin in 2019. Left to mourn his passing is his wife Yvonna of 54 years.
