Leo suddenly passed away on April 5, 2010 doing what he loved, working on his farm. He was born on September 6, 1940 in the small town of St. Elzard, Quebec. He was the oldest of 12 children and was predeceased by his parents and brother, Marcel. He married Yvonne Rondeau on April 25, 1965 and moved to Quesnel in 1977 with his wife and 6 children. Leo was hardworking, creative and resourceful. He loved to invent things and had the reputation for fixing the impossible. He was dedicated to the love and care of his wife, children and grandchildren. He was a man who touched us all in so many ways and gave us so many special memories. He is loved and dearly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife Yvonne, their 6 children: Suzanne Lebrun, Irene (Doug) Pepper, Donald (Penny Mason) Lebrun, Lorraine (Jay) Guillet, Leona (Sam) Kolbinson, Paulette (Rob) Stobbart, and their 10 grandchildren: Cory Lebrun, Greg Pepper, Ian Pepper, Evan Guillet, Justine Guillet, Samuel Kolbinson, Dominique Stobbart, Kailie Stobbart, Cameron Stobbart and Tyler Stobbart.
