“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died.

Rather we should thank God that such men lived.”

Our father passed away quietly Wednesday, September 3, 2014 with his children by his side. Never one to back away from a fight, Dad fought pancreatic cancer until there was just no fight left.

Predeceased by our Mom, Fern Peterson. Left to miss his cranky sense of humour are his children: Cherrie (Tom) of Hixon, BC; Andy (Sharmon) of Manning, AB; Larry of Surrey, BC; Daniel (Pearl) of Grimshaw, AB; Rhonda (George) of Prince George, BC; Donna (Barry) of Edmonton, AB; James (Jocelyn) of Manning, AB; many grandchildren; and his companion, Frances.

Following Dad’s wishes, there will be no funeral. We will

be gathering to scatter his ashes at a later date.

Special thanks to Dr. Walker for his kindness and compassion, and to the staff at G.R. Baker Memorial Hospital, for making such a difficult time a little easier.
