The family of Lillian Koberinski wish to announce her passing on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at G.R. Baker Memorial Hospital in Quesnel, BC, following a lengthy struggle with multiple health challenges.

Lillian leaves behind, to love and honour her memory, her husband of 45 years, Alvin, daughters Peggy (Doug), Alvina (Len), Michelle (Brian), the grandchildren she adored, Stephanie, Brandon, Ocean, Luke, Chris, and Kendra and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sisters Yvonne and Yvette (although unfortunately Yvette passed away in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, nine days later on April 23, 2010). She is predeceased by her parents, Wilfrid and Laura Colleaux, brother Marcel Colleaux and two nephews Doug Coroy and Wayne Bernauer.

The family wishes to sincerely thank the doctors involved in her care, especially Dr. Mark Walker, along with the staff at the Avery Clinic, and the third floor nursing staff at the hospital. We would particularly like to thank the nurses who took care of Lillian during her last few days and the social worker who helped arrange a private room. The privacy was much appreciated.

We would also like to thank Father Martin Peyton for all the time he spent with Lillian in the hospital and for the compassionate and caring service. A funeral service and tea to celebrate Lillian’s life took place on April 21, 2010. The family would like to thank everyone who attended, as well as those who sent their condolences.

Mom, you will remain forever in the hearts of your family and friends.
