Linda Merle Baldwin

Linda Merle Baldwin, eldest daughter of Keith and Enid Campbell of Quesnel passed away at her home in Prince George, B.C. on April 19, 2004 at the age of 55.

Linda was born in Quesnel on March 23, 1949. She attended Helen Dixon and Quesnel Senior Secondary schools and graduated from Simon Fraser university.

Linda is survived by her parents and sons Dave Baldwin of Surrey, James Baldwin of Prince George and daughter Leilani Rempel (Mike) of Prince George, sisters Dana (Wayne) Ballantyne and nephews Jesse and Joel Ballantyne of Langley, sister Dawn (Allan) McDonald, nephew Alex, nieces Marisa, Elena, Frances McDonald of Quesnel, brother Eric (Pam) Campbell, nieces Alissa of Quesnel, Lauren of Langley and nephew Jackson of Langley, B.C.

Linda was much loved and will be missed by her parents, family and many dear friends in Prince George and Quesnel.

During her three year battle with cancer, Linda taught school until the last few weeks of her illness. The principal(s), staff, parents and pupils of Spruceland Elementary School showed kindness and support beyond the call of duty and we are so grateful to them.

A service for Linda was conducted by the Rev. Peter Zimmer at St. Michael’s Anglican Church in Prince George on Friday, April 23, 2004.
