Linda Rae Anderson of Lynden passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at St. Joseph Hospital in Bellingham.
Linda was born on January 18, 1945 in Las Vegas, NV to Earnest and Theona Ohlson. She had been a Whatcom County resident for 20 years.
She married Gary Anderson on April 4, 1987. She was very involved and interested in the raising and showing of draft horses, holding the office of secretary-treasurer for the Washington Draft Horse Pullers Association.
Linda is survived by her husband Gary of the family home; 3 daughters, Chris (Tim) O’Byrne of Henderson, NV, Dena Cowlishaw (Shaw) of Vancouver, WA, and Korie Howard of Bellingham; stepson Kenny Anderson of Baltimore, MD, stepdaughter Gerri Anderson of Bellingham; grandchildren Oren Cowlishaw of Puyallup, WA, Mark O’Byrne of Henderson, NV, Kirsten Howard of Bellingham, Kira and Sophie Ferris of Bellingham; brother Ernie (Sara) Ohlson of Phoenix, AZ, and sister Dawna (Mike) Jolliff of Las Vegas, NV.
At Linda’s request there will be no formal services. A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints.
