It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lloyd at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, B.C.
He is survived by his wife Edith, son Lloyd Jr., daughter Sherry (Winnipeg, MB) and granddaughters Jacquie (Boissevain, MB) and Charity (Winnipeg, MB). Lloyd was predeceased by his parents and step brothers and sisters.
Lloyd was born in Winnipeg, MB, grew up in Melita, MB and ventured westward in his young adult years. He worked the oilfields of the North West and construction in Calgary where he met his wife Edith in 1963. They came to Quesnel, BC in the fall of 1968 where Lloyd worked in the sawmills and construction while enjoying the beautiful outdoors.
Lloyd will be sadly missed by many for his friendly ways, always ready to help anyone and his great sense of humour.
Memorial services for Lloyd were held on April 26, 2008 at the Clayton Funeral Chapel with Aylisa Anderson officiating, followed by a reception at the Golden Centre.
