The family of the late Lloyd Ward would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, flowers, telephone calls, food and tremendous support during our recent and painful loss.
Lloyd (Shorty) quietly passed away at home on July 1, 2004 after a brief, but courageous battle with lung cancer.
Lloyd lived and raised his family in Quesnel for the past 35 years and retired as the owner/operator of Sky Blue Trucking after trucking since the age of 14. Left to mourn his passing are his wife of 51 years, Martha, and his children Barb Ward-Burkitt (Jim Burkitt), Glen (Donna), Marilyn (Brian) and Brent.
Lloyd’s spirit will live on in his 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren who will miss his gentle smile and sense of humour.
Lloyd is gone,
but will never
be forgotten.
