With sad hearts we announce the passing of our mother, Lola Evelyn Miller after a long battle with kidney disease April 3, 2008 at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops.

She was formerly of Quesnel, but resided in Williams Lake.

Lola is survived by her daughter Debra (Farley) their children Sarah and Spencer of Quesnel, her son Michael (Shelley) and their children Brittany, Austin and Dustin and great granddaughter Rayleigh of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, her brother John Ward and family of Alberta and many friends from both communities.

As requested by the family, no funeral service will be held as Lola was cremated and the family will be holding a private and personal ceremony in 2009 when both of the families can be together. The community of Williams Lake will be holding a “Celebration of Life” for Lola, Monday, April 14 at 11 a.m. at Saint Peter’s Anglican Church. In lieu of flowers, donation to the Kidney Foundation are gratefully accepted.

Lola was always active with many volunteer groups and her friends and family before becoming too ill.

The family would like to thank the many doctors, nurses and friends which are too many to mention for stepping in and helping Mom throughout her battle and helping us through our time of grief.

“Mom, you always told us that we have guardian angels watching over us. Now we have you to look after us and with each burst of Spring, the joys of Summer, the beauty of Fall, and the solitude of Winter, a smile will come to our faces knowing that you are with us in mind and spirit. Mom, we love you and miss you.”
