Louise Susan Cruikshank

Louise Susan Cruikshank of Quesnel lost her well fought 2 year battle with cancer on Dec. 14th, 2006. The funeral was held Dec. 20th 2006 at the Clayton Funeral Home in Quesnel with Ron Malmas officiating and a eulogy read by Ross Olsen. Following the service was a tea at the Tower Inn Banquet room.

She was born March 9th, 1941 in Hudson Bay, Sask. and later married her surviving husband Bill Cruikshank on August 15th,1959. Louise was a loving full-time Mother to her surviving kids Roy (Bonnie) Cruikshank, Linda (Wayne) Berard, Terrie (Earl) Tourangeau and Dale Cruikshank. Also, left behind are her siblings Darlene McLeannan, Herb (Janet) May, and Fred (Bonnie) May. Her legacy is lived on by her grandchildren Joshua (Kendall), Brandon (Sunny), Sean, Kenton (Jessica), Caitlin (Lukas), Kalie, Graeme, Elexa, Emilie, Drew and a future Great Grand Child. Her family life was very dear to her heart, but also was friends to many people that she met during her walk in life.

She was a bowler, TOPS-KOPS member, curling fan, friend to many and was more affectionately known as Mom, Grandma, Mrs. C and Lou. The family wishes to extend thanks to all; especially to the doctors and nurses at G.R. Baker Hospital for their thoughts and support during this difficult time.
