The family of Lucienne (Lucy) Farquhar are saddened to announce her passing on January 5th, 2018.
Lucienne was pre-deceased by her husband Douglas Farquhar; brothers Joseph (Guy) and Bernard Riel; Father, Narcice Hilaire Riel and Mother, Bernadette Riel.
Survived by her sister, Julie Smith; brother, William Riel; sister-in-law, Lucille Riel; sons, Cameron (Janie), Ian (Marlene), Stuart (Barbara); daughters, Heather, Jeanne (Red), Yvonne (Hans), Piper (Henry), Bonnie and Donna (Doug), as well as many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Great-great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The Family would like to thank the Staff at Maeford Place for taking care of Mom, you do such a great job. Thank you.
And the Nurses and staff at GR Baker Hospital, thank you for taking such good care of her while she was in your care.
In lieu of flowers those wishing to honor Lucy's memory by way of donation, may do so to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #94 or the Legion Auxiliary Branch # 94 (which Lucy was a member for many years).
A memorial tea will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall on January 13th, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
