In Loving Memory - Mrs. Mabel Plett of Edson, beloved wife of Mr. Wilbert Plett, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2019 at the age of 85 years.
Mabel was born to Corneleuis and Anna Unger on April 23, 1934, the fourth of eight children.
Mabel will be lovingly remembered by her loving husband Wilbert; children Phyllis Drewes, Larry Plett, Darrell (Marian) Plett, and Lorraine (Gord) LeBel; grandchildren Karla (Daniel) Nash, Melissa (Ryan) Ellen, Natalie Plett, Jacob Plett, Annette (Chris) Cartwright, Jeromy Drewes, Trevor (Kaleena) Plett, Thomas Plett, Josh Plett, and Daniel LeBel; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings Nettie (Ellis) Penner, Dan (Soha) Unger, and Elda Plett; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
Mabel was predeceased by her son-in-law Marty Drewes; parents Corneleuis and Anne Unger; siblings Evelyn (Willie) Manky, Erma (Otto) Unger, Ruben Unger, and Charlie Unger.
A Celebration of Life was held at 2 pm, Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the Edson Mennonite Church, 6212 - 13 Avenue, Edson, AB., with Pastor Aaron Kaufman, officiating.
