It is with heavy hearts
that the family of
announce her passing on Saturday, October 27, 2007.
Madge passed away at home in the arms of her children, grandchildren, great niece and husband of 50 years.
Madge was born in Edmonton, Alberta on October 21, 1937, spending her childhood and youth growing up in Vancouver where she met and married her childhood sweetheart, Cliff, on May 4, 1957.
With four children born within 4 1/2 years, they packed up and headed north. Eventually landing in Quesnel in 1968, making their home in the Bouchie Lake area for the next 25 years and then moving to the Richbar area. Madge’s home always had an open door, day or night, for whoever needed it.
She spent her life caring for and loving her family, nothing meant more. She has left us all with an unshakable strength of love and family values that will be in our hearts forever.
Madge was predeceased by her parents, Edna and Harry Taylor, her brother, Rob Taylor and her grandson, Christopher Gignac.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Cliff Heppner, her children Darlene (Mike) Gignac, Cathy (Calvin) Kirsh, Angela (Dean) Miller and Craig (Susan) Heppner; her grandchildren Carlie (Alec) Borrett, Clinton (Samantha) Kirsh, Crystal (Ryan) Campbell, Courtney Kirsh, Katie Hack, Jennifer (Frank) Hack, Kara Miller, Braden Miller, Cami Miller, Alysha Heppner, Danielle Heppner, James Sheppard, Grant Sheppard and Madeline Sheppard; great grandchildren Lilly Borrett, Alexandra Borrett, Preston Kirsh, and Allyse Campbell; sister Irene Stewart; brother Jim Taylor as well as a large extended family. We are all so blessed to have been part of her life.
The family of Madge Heppner would like to thank Dr. Jacobson, Clayton’s Funeral Home
