Lawrance, Margaret (Peggy), beloved wife of Dave Lawrance, passed away suddenly July 13, 2008 at the age of 64. Peggy was born at Viking hospital on July 16, 1943 in Viking, Alberta, Canada. She was the youngest of three children born to John and Betty Price.

Peggy leaves her husband Dave, children Drene (Alex) Callander, Della (Darryl) Arsenault, sister Mary (George) Ainslie and grandchildren Kimber (Felicia), Troy, Taylor, Brook, Rhees and numerous nieces, nephew, families and friends to cherish her memory.

Peggy met the love of her life, David James Lawrance, in 1959. They married at the First United Church in Salmon Arm, November 25, 1960. Soon to follow was their first daughter and 2 1/2 years later their second. Peggy and Dave lived for most of their life together in Salmon Arm and the later part they resided in Quesnel.

Peggy was a devoted wife, mother, sister, very proud grandmother and soon to be great-grand mother. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cross-stitching, sewing, rug hooking, gardening, camping, dress making and always there whenever someone needed a hand. She supported Dave in his Chuckwagon and Chariot racing. She loved and devoted many hours perfecting each and every crochet pattern that she painstakingly picked for people special in her life. There was special meaning to each of them and it was not complete unless it was perfect.

Peggy looked forward to all her family gatherings and visits from special friends. She was looking forward to spending time in the newly acquired 5th wheel and doing some camping. Peggy had a special place in her heart for all her pets and took special care of all of them.

Peggy was predeceased by her parents John and Betty Price and brother William Price.

The funeral took place in Quesnel at Clayton’s Funeral home and a celebration of life was held at her home on July 21, 2008.

“Oh God, we thank you for Peggy’s love and guidance through life and give us strength to go forward during this difficult time.”
