DREWES, Martin Henry

On March 21st, 2014, Martin Henry Drewes, beloved husband of Phyllis passed away in Edmonton at the age of 63 years.


Besides his loving wife Phyllis, Martin is survived by his children: daughter Karla (Dan) Nash and their children Madison, Lauren and Joel of Devon, Alberta, and son Jeromy (Betty) Drewes and their son Cheval of Edson, Alberta,

Also surviving is his mother Mrs. Leila Drewes of Drayton Valley, Alberta and siblings

George (Margaret) Drewes and family, Marvin (Marlene) Drewes and family, Dewey (Kathy) Drewes and family, Lorne (Irene) Drewes and family, Jim (Bev) Drewes and family, Ken Drewes and his companion and family, Kay (Ed) Johnson and family, Barb (John) Tinney and family, Margaret (Alex) Brodinsky and family, Lil (Rod) Cruikshank and family and Vera and her companion and family.

Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and a host of friends.

Martin was predeceased by his father Martin Drewes (2006) and his nephew Jorden Drewes (2013).


Funeral services were held on Friday, March 28th, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall in Edson with Pastor George Stone officiating. Interment followed in Glenwood Cemetery, Edson, Alberta.
