It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Hill (nee Penner) on February 12, 2008.
She was predeceased by her son Frank in 1955, husband Forrest in 1966, father Derk in 1976, mother Helena (nee Weiler) in 1987 and son Tom in 1997.
Mary is survived by her son Gordon, daughter Alma of Quesnel; daughter Mary Merle (Jim) Lefevre of Calgary, brothers Bill, Edward (Gladys), sisters Helen Meyers, and Kathleen Poor, all of Quesnel; sister Bertha Dyck of Makwa, SA., brother Jake (Ethel) of Quesnel, Lenard of Trail, BC and Henry of Quesnel, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A service was held on February 19 at Clayton’s Funeral Home with interment at the Quesnel Cemetery, followed by refreshments at the Golden Centre.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Golden Centre, 401 Front Street, Quesnel, B.C. V2J 2K4 are gratefully accepted.
