Maurene Sharon Greer (nee Hake) born July 3, 1945 in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta to George and Gladys Hake. Maurene passed away unexpectedly May 21, 2016 in Chetwynd, B.C. from complications after cancer surgery. Maurene grew up in Quesnel, B.C. where she graduated high school and started her family. Maurene worked at Weldwood, The Royal Bank and in her later years, after moving to Chetwynd, B.C., she worked at the Scotia Bank until her retirement. Maurene had a love for many things. She enjoyed painting, scrap booking, gardening and her animals.
Maurene is lovingly remembered by her husband George Greer, son Brett Martins, stepdaughter Tammy Greer, stepson Jason Greer, brothers Fred Gordon, Jack Gordon, Gerald (Marion) Gordon, Bruce (Lillian) Gordon, grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
