Mary Delia Elizabeth Genest was born December 31, 1924 in Shell Lake, Sask., and passed away on April 24, 2008 in Rosetown, Sask. at the age of 83 years.
Delia enjoyed her last years loved and cared for by her beloved husband Bud Genest whom she married in 1998.
Delia was predeceased by her first husband Jim Lust of Rosetown in 2002 and her second husband Bud Genest of Rosetown in 2007, her parents Albert and Alice Brown and brothers, Pat, Jack, Art and Jimmy Brown.
She is survived by her sisters Reta Brown and Dorothy (Joe) Weleski. Delia is survived by her and Jim Lust’s daughters Bernadette (Art) Friend, Brenda (Steve Willment) Taylor, Joannie (Darren) Rose, sons Eddie (Monique) Lust, Jim (Karen) Lust and Neil Lust. Also surviving her are her grandchildren Joanne (Jim) Faulkner, Jason (Dwyla) Friend, Shelley (Darren) McAmmond, Jack (Amanda) Lust, Alysha Lust, Josh (Vanessa) Lust, Brienne (Justin) Tambini, Braedon (Christina Lavallie) Lust, Taylor Lust, Michael (Rachel Sadowick) Taylor, Kevin Taylor, Danielle, Devin and Megan Rose. Her great grandchildren include Jenny, Jolene, Janelle, Tyrel, Jenae, Broden, Spencer, Brooke and Jayden. She is also survived by Bud’s two daughters Beverly Genest Conway and Patricia (David) Axness and Bud’s granddaughter Lana (Jason) Thompson and family.
