With great sorrow we announce the passing of a woman of extreme strength, courage and love; a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Mildred Stychyshyn.
Mildred passed away peacefully at Surrey Memorial Hospital on November 10th 2011 surrounded by her family.
Mildred was born and raised in Prince George B.C. to Joseph and Katrina Berger (nee Huzyk). Mildred spent many years as a patient escort at VGH hospital. Later in life Mildred enjoyed her time working at Kool Kids clothing store in Quesnel B.C and was a valued member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Prince George B.C for many years where she will be remembered as Sister Millie.
She had a passion for baking and cooking, perogies being one of her masterpieces. Full of life and laughter Mildred’s ways enriched and enlivened all she came in contact with. Mildred is survived by her six children, twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren as well as her many friends.
Predeceased by her loving parents and brother Ray.
She will be forever missed by her family and we treasure our memories eternal.
