Mildred Luella Mae Thiera

September 12, 2004

Mildred Luella Mae Thiara was born May 5, 1938 in Red Deer, Alberta to Althea-Ann and Fred McCullock.

As a child she lived in Camrose, Alberta. Later the family moved to Calgary, Alta. where she lived until she married.

After Mildred married, she moved from Calgary to Vancouver then to Quesnel in her later years.

Mildred had four daughters Robin, Greta, Louisa and Roxanne (adopted foster daughter, deceased).

Her highlights of her life were her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and of course her fat cats which she often joked about.

Mildred was always ready to give a helping hand to anyone who needed it. She enjoyed helping out at the Bluegrass Festival, Aboriginal Days in LeBourdais park or being a sister member of Ladies of the Royal Purple.

Mildred was always interested in different beliefs. She enjoyed participating in the various churches in Quesnel. In keeping an open mind about religion, she was able to make a lot of very good and caring friends.

We are going to miss her laughter, as she was always quick to see the humour in most everything.

Mildred is survived by her daughters, Robin (Alvin) of Prince George, Greta (John), Louisa (Graham) of Quesnel, also 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
