With great sadness and fond memories, the family of Nancy Evelyn Thompson announce her passing on January 29, 2006.

Ev was born in Fielding, Sask., on March 24, 1918.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to the many who knew her.

She enjoyed her garden, quilting and her family.

Ev was predeceased by her husband Otto “Puff” Thompson, her brothers Willis and Bill Scott, and her sister Pearl Costello.

She is survived by her children, Bev Lust (Spike), Tom (Barb), Dale (Marg), Judy Rolston (Garry), Bob (Lynne), Nancy O’Flynn (Terry), 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren.

Ev is also survived by her very special brother, Gordon Scott and wife Ann.

Donations may be made in her name to the Quesnel Palliative Care Association.

The family of Nancy Evelyn Thompson would like to give a world of thanks to the palliative care nurses, especially Lori Lawlor for her help and support in making Mom’s final days with us as comfortable as possible. Also, our appreciation to home support for being there when needed.

We would like to extend a big ‘thank you’ to Dr. Grapes for his care and treatment and his above-and-beyond house calls for Mom. To our family and friends, a special thank you for all the food, love and support.
