It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Olive Maureen Isaak formerly of Quesnel.
Maureen is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Don; sons, Steve (Jennifer), Matt (Lucie) and daughter in law, Melanie Isaak; grandchildren Cody (Brianne), Julia, Jacob, Ivy-Marie, Gabriela, Tomas, Amelia, Hope and Casey; great grandchild, Theodore and beloved sister, Patsy as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Allan; brothers, Dennis, Terry and Mickey O’Hara.
Maureen would light up any space with her love and joy. Loving and supporting her husband and boys was very important to her as a wife and mother. Maureen and Don hosted many events especially Boxing Day celebrations, summer BBQ’s and Sunday dinners which will be missed by all. Maureen was a dedicated volunteer for the Catholic Women’s League and the Breast Cancer Society. Maureen was a member of the Red Hat Society and Beta Sigma Phi.
My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, November 2nd at 12 noon at St John Vianney Catholic Church in Penticton B.C.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Quesnel in Spring 2020.
